I was talking with my Boss today and he said that we may be pickin up the Marantz line. He seems to think that they have better distribution channels to keep thier products flowing to us dealers, Lately Yamaha and Denon have been kind of a pain to get product!!
What do you guy's think of Marantz in general, Product line? Timely distribution? Ease of use? Warranty service? Product training? etc...
I also want to here from any of you out their that have dropped Marantz and why.

I love Marantz gear. I have the AV9000 and the DV7010 and wouldn't trade them for anything (well, not anything on their price level anyway) I think they are one of the most straight forward lines as far as operation goes, unlike Denon. Hope you enjoy it!

I need help with my Marantz 5200. Can anyone help. I just started learning how to program the thing when I made a big mistake. I pressed "cancel" on the touch screen setup while downloading info to the remote. When I did this my remote stoped working. It just peeps like every 10 seconds, and won't let me do anything. Does anyone know what to do?

Marantz product training sucks really bad in my experience, we couldn't get any one in to train us if his mother was dying in the store. This is just in my store though, we could be the redheaded step child, but the owner loves the stuff and can't stop selling it.

Love Marantz. The only problem I've seen was the X200 series receivers for a few months. Marantz is a solid and easy product to setup. The multiroom functions always work!
As far as the 5200. Remove power then setup your computer for a firmware update. Apply the power then keep trying to send the update. When it boots up it should see the computer trying to send it info and take it.

Marantz is a great product overall if you're having problems tech wise.. see your rep for training classes. Rolls Electronics sells the remotes and have training classes once a year. They're located in CA, USA.
I'd like to get a marantz product if i could afford it... then again i'm a college student. :P

If you sell Marantz, use their remotes to sell the system. Program it right, and it'll do the dishes.
