I have been asked to install a projector for a friend (Sharp Xv10000U) His ceiling is very, very high and he wants to mount an electric screen to avoid the image looking too high i need a screen with a very large black drop . The largest i have found is a Draper with a 24" drop i need about 36" of black drop to avoid neck ache. The projector is going to project onto the screen where the fire place is .A custom made pelmit is going to hide the sceen at the top and the sides. The maximum image size will be 229cm wide by 112cm high (16:9) I usually install plasmas and audio systems and it has been a while since i installed a projector any help with screens would be very helpful
Thanks Bob

Call Draper..... Theywill add as much Black Drop as you need.... If not, Call Da-Lite or Stewart. I have used 3-6' of black drop in some situations from both of those guys.

It can be when the drop leng starts to exceed the screen with if you are using an untensioned screen. In your cars you probably wont have any problems though.
