munson,

wire a small t-stat to a muffin fan OR:

www.activethermal.com

they make a myriad of fans that run SILENTLY 24/7 if needed...

Really quite amazing...they use lots of big fans, at 1/4 to half normal speed...they stay silent, and work REALLY well!

i had that problem once...

What i ended up doing was drilling a 2" hole through a 1/2" thick chunk of rubber (a tile trough type thing donated the rubber), and bolted that rubber chunk to the inside of the cabinet that had a conveniently placed ventilation hole. Then, I bolted a 16v fan to the chunk of rubber. I used a 10v power supply to drive the fan, and the thing has been running continuously, silently, for more than a year.

That customer also has an amp that would generate heat even in standby mode.
We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours.
