I am having trouble with Zenith's HDV420 Off-Air HD Tuner.

I've been running Hughes Platinum E86 without problems in my showroom, which is an Off-Air / Sat HD combo tuner. Currently rolled in (2) of the Zenith pieces and they are not pulling down half of the quality as the Hughes. I even paired up the Zenith HD tuners with Zenith's video products, for shits -n- giggles, thus yielding the same. The signal meter on the Zenith is well above normal and into the good steadily.

Any feed back regarding the above would be appreciated.

Not sure if the Off-Air/Sat combo creates better pull down or not, I would think not. Note: Tested all via dedicated Antenna feed.

A funny thing........today while reviewing "The Perfect Vision" Magazine (Nov/Dec 2003 issue), ZENITH's SAT-HD520 took "Set-Top box of the year!"

Maybe Sat/Off-Air combos do pull down better, still am interested to hear more testimonials.

The SAT-HD520 has a DVI output which makes it a hot pick.

I have deinitely noticed problems with the Zenith 520 and the Sony HD200. There are alot of things that I hate as well as everybody else (the signal button). What idiot with an MBA thought that up? I really like the HIRD E-86 but less peole are buying it because its not SHINEY AND SILVER! Yeah, I have definitely noticed differences in pulling signal
