I'm trying to control a Delphi SkyFi Xmradio receiver with a russound CAV6.6.
Turns out the IR codes for the Delphi Cycle between and A & B code. Is there any way around this? The russound unit will not work with it. Somehow the pronto figured it out just by learning the codes with the remotes back to back.

Anyone know of some type of box that can go between the Delphi and the russound to correct the problem?

Thanks,
Jason Walter

PS anyone know if the Sirius home unit does that same thing?

Prontos can operate nativly in RC-5 mode.... This is why they can learn and reproduce the A/B remote structure. I doubt the Russound can do it, but I would call Tech support just to be sure.

I have already spoken with the tech. It can't do it.
So I'm out of luck?
Can you breifly explain RC-5?

Anyone using other XM or Sirius products that are known to not have this AB IR code?

Thanks
Jason

You might want to find out if Xantech's MAC1 (mini macronizer) can. You could have the Russound send a Xantech commmand, and the MAC1 control the Delphi.
