Well, I'm sorry you've never done a $150k+ home theater, but I can assure you, it can be done... Pretty easily.... Especially when you start with a Runco VX-3 w/ Anamorphic lens.
I'm not defending this guy, if he trulely is doing systems of this size, he should invest a little time in system design and engineering.

150k is VERY easy to surpass, but the guys still a HOT head for deleting his orginal posts. I actually, wanted to help until that happened.

It's a downright shame that someone would entrust 150K to someone who can't read a dictionary. Webster defines a "system" as "an assemblage of objects arranged after some distinct method, usually logical or scientific, regarded as forming one complete whole". Logically (said in the voice Sir Bedevere used in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"), one would deduce that a "system" is of course only a good as its weakest point. One would also deduce that to create a "system", one should not leave out certain things in the design process of that system... otherwise, it can't really be defined as a "system" at all (just some poor bastard who spent an ill advised 150K)
