Hi,

i have a UNIVERSUM FT 4250A TV. I lost my remote control. now i found out that i can control it with my PDA. i already found some ccf files for my dvd player but i can't find nothing for my TV. But i found some of those noname remote controls that handle up to 100 TVs and they all supported my TV. where can i get information about my tv now. something like which remote control was it using. so i can find a ccf file thats compatible.

or is there any other way to solve my problem?

please help...

Information, Information, Information.

Such as, are you in the United States, UK, Australia, or ? ? ? The answer will vary depending on your location.

Such as, are you trying to program a Pronto, so you need the codes or a ccf that will work?

Such as, I just need a remote so I can work my TV. If that is the case (and you do not say you need anything more than that), then just buy a universal remote.

If you need basic TV controls to teach to a Pronto, get a universal remote, set it to control your set, then teach that set of commands to a Pronto. Those remotes typically will not have menu commands, but this is way better than nothing.

Also, since you are on the internet, DON'T FORGET THE INTERNET! ! TRY GOOGLE.COM! ! One minute with Google brought me the following web site: [Link: avukltd.com]

where they say they have replacement remote controls for Universum TVs.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
