I require a good quality speaker to go inside a purpose made cabinet (furniture).

I beleive the best option would be an in-wall speaker
The ones I am looking at are the Triad Silver monitors, but have not had any previous experience with them.

They will primarily be used as a stereo pr for background to moderate listening levels.

Any experience with these speakers or alternatives would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Have used and HIGHLY recommend these speakers. They sound VERY good, and will take a little or a lot.

Same here.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thanks guys, looks like I'm on the right track.

On a separate application,

We need a speaker system for a dedicated room to go with a TagMclaren AV192R processor and DVD.

The package I would like to use is the M&K S150 (possibly using the active versions) as I have used these before and been happy with the sound,
however there may be an issue with the aesthetics in this particular room i.e. they may not be wife friendly.

Would the Triads hidden in the walls provide a respectable alternative or should I venture into the in-wall M&Ks.

Does anyone use both and can advise on the sound differences, partnering power amp, as well as a comparison to the active M&Ks.

Thanks.
