When I try and upload from the pronto into the computer it will keep saying that it is uploading and never finish. It will conect and download from the computer to the pronto without any problem. I have uploaded with pronto NG before and it usually takes about 5 min. Now on this pronto it will keep uploading for over a half hour until I cancel the upload. The most recent firmware update is in the Pronto. Has anyone run into this problem before.

YES, I have this same problem, I am having to program everything before downloading and I am unable to upload a Final copy for archiving. I am running XP Pro and have the newest software and firmware and I still have the problem. In another place on this site someone said I need to 'enable bios' I am not much with computers and I could not find where this was done, no one replied to my question of where this change is made before, so I ask again, How do I 'enable bios'?

I have been experiencing the same issues.I have talked to Philips support several time with no luck. They claim that I am the only one to have had any issues with this. They seem baffled.I have tried to install NG
on six seperate computers with the full range of windows they say are compatible.I have only been able to consistantly up/download to one. The poor thing has been running with NG 24/7 since the release.I am terrified to shut it down for fear of losing it. One of my competitors went to Best Buy and tried NG on every PC in the store with no luck.
Support has been utterly useless...
Any Ideas???? Anyone???

We are having to same problem as well. I think we did get it to work at some point in the past can't remeber when. We did upgrade the firmware on the unit and that is what we are looking at now. If anyone else has some ideas fill free...

If you teach the remote the IR commands while in PENG, then you can archive a Final Copy. I have XP and have been able to upload, but since I've had those problems before, I've learned to learn the commands in PENG so there is no need to upload.
