Im looking for a 12 volt triggered AC outlet. Nothing fancy, I just need to turn a cd jukebox on and off with two different systems. What are you guys using?

Thanks,
Mav

Try Niles most recent stuff they always have that kinda stuff.. If they don't try Xantech or Audioplex.

Remember to put diodes on the plus leads on each of the 12 volt power supplies so they don't back feed, and then plug into either a Xantech or Russound voltage triggered device. If you want bigger, Panamax has 12 volt trigger inputs as well.

To the best of my knowledge, Niles is no longer making power management devices.

You're right!

I forgot about the ac-3.

My bad.

I was referring to their larger series of devices from several years ago.

If you want something simple and cheap get an electrical box large enough to house a recepticle and a 12v relay. Just use the relay to switch power.

Xantech has two, the bigger one has an IR code option, I use them to achieve discreet on/off action on Aquos TV's.

Thank you for all your answers. The xantech AC1 looked basic enough, but since I was in kinda of a crunch for dollars on this job we decided to just make one like Brady said. After gatering up a few parts we were able to make one for about fifteen bucks.

Thanx to all,
Mav

Thanks Impaqt! The earlier "monitor only" big buck Sharps had a two conductor power cord so I used to remote the power supply to the basement and power them from the Xantech AC2. The new Aquos have a multi-pin so your codes will come in real handy and save some money too.
