I have a customer who has her heart set on buying a Brinkmann (German) SL-media cabinet for her new condo. It's 9'wide by 7' high, has 4 motorized sliding doors with built-in flat panel L&R speakers. The speakers and recommended amp are from Siemens. The only info I can get from the sales rep is that the speakers are 4 40watt coils each and the amp is 150 watt. The amp has only 3 inputs(the customer will have 6-7 sources) and is only dolby surround(all for $2200). Anyone ever seen or used one of these? Can I put a Denon 3803 in place of the Siemens amp? The brochure says it is an SMS "sound modul system" mit Siemens technologie.

Take mesurements of the cabinet and set her up with whatever you feel is a good system that fits in there. It very difficult to deal with a german company that are not geared to serve the american market. JJ Bugsy
