Does anybody have any experience with installing LCD-TV in bathroom, especially how LCD-TV's react to humidity?

I have an LCD in the bathroom situation coming up next month, but it's a BIG bathroom so I am not worried. I did put one in a wall next to a hottub (talk about humidity!) I gave it a piece of plexi (to keep splashes away from it. It's been good for 1.5 winters so far. :)

Emir,
I'vr put LCD's in bathroom walls (external) and even in shower walls. Behind glass with small venting into wall cavity. Works great.

Steam and water condensation could effect printed circuit boards and components in a long run.

Emir,
I have recently looked at a product called tilevision.

These are LCD televisions which are designed to go in the bathroom and are resistant to all moisture.

The picture is surprisingly good and to top it off it turns into a mirror when the unit is switched off.

If your interested check out the link below

not sure about distribution over there so best check first if you're interested.

I've done a few LCD's above hot tubs.. no issues so far provided the room is ventilated.. If the steam can escape, there's no problems... If the steam is trapped, then the tv might short out...

my brand of choice right now is Helios
We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours.
