Hi,

I am trying to program my 5 hard buttons below the screen but when it comes to label them I get the label from button 1 on all buttons. Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug ?

I have also tried to leave out the first label but then I get nothing on the remaining 4.

Any ideas welcome.

Kristjan

Is the check box for punch-through of the System Page buttons unchecked?

Yes the check box is unchecked. I was wondering if someone could try this on their remote and see what the behavior is ? What I did was uncheck all five hard buttons below the screen, assign a name and assign an IR function from a My Database device.

You need to assign a name to each button and that name is what will show up as the label for each of the five hard buttons. At least that is what worked for me. On that sort of thing, I reload the original file that was loaded in my TSU9600 and see how they did something in it. That has answered a variety of questions for me.

Oh, one thing I've noticed is that all of the background they have provided are too big. If you use them, they'll cover up the labels for the hard buttons. (Putting the background on the system level page might fix this, but then every screen will hav the same background and what fun is that! ;-)
A little nuts, but I'm single so I can usually get away with it.

The backgrounds are intended for the system page only.

I copied the button images from the system page and overlayed them on top of the background image - i can then have a different background on each page and still have the labels relating to the hard buttons.

What would be much better of course would be the ability to resize or crop a panel rather than it always expanding to the image !!

The Crop feature Dean describes has been a feature request for a long time in the form of a "Device" background panel. If you want to use the backgrounds from the gallery, simply drag them into a config, save to hard disk, and crop them with MSPaint.exe to a size of 640 x 400. Then, you can use them on any page.
