I want to syncronize pronto time with time server, according to the guide tryed methods:

Date.getSeconds(); - getting the accual pronto seconds
var sec=24;
Date.setSeconds(sec); - setting pronto seconds

The setSeconds() doesn't work;
Maybe i didn't understand how to implement the call of setSeconds method?
How should i pass the new desired value into the method call?

From the manual:

On the Pronto panel, the time obtained with the Core JavaScript Date class has no relation with the user-visible time and...

What you see is not the actual javasctipt Time it is a whole different time.

You must enter Settings on Remote to set the time. Cannot be done using script.

You likely know this but I will state: Remote time synchronized with PC time immediately following download.

Noting that, at least for me, it often still gets the time zone wrong and is therefore off by XXX hours.

Guy,

I thought that issue was fixed with latest PEP2 or PEP3 and Windows 7. Maybe it is Vista where issue is occurring?

It is less frequent than it used to be: now about 50% of the time whereas it used to be near 100%.

Nope - I use Windows 7.
