I recently converted my PEP1 configuration to the new PEP3 and while everything is working well, I like the concept of being able to add some buttons via the Overlay function. From what I can see, this function doesn't appear to work for the TSU9600/9800. Has anyone got it to work?

Install the latest firmware for the remote control.

The latest firmware was already loaded. Have you got this to work on a TSU9600/9800?

I somehow had missed the "insert overlay page" - and instead was looking at the actions list under buttons which references overlay. Thanks for responding. It appears that just about any shape can be used.

Hi,

I'm using an overlay attached to the hard power button. When pressed, it brings up an overlay with all the power options for my components. I've replaced the standard button with pics of the components.

Previously, I had to have a whole load of extra buttons on my panels. The overlay function has allowed to make the remaining buttons on the panel larger, as I am now able to use the extra space. It's a cracking development.

Cheers, Lee

Well I had overlays in my designs since Philips introduced the dinamic widgets. A little more work, but the result was the same.
