Hi,

I use the speakers on my plasma most times, but when I switch my amp on using a button on I'd like the volume hard button to control volume of the amp. When the amp is switched off, I'd like it to revert back to controlling the plasma speakers.

What I've done in the past is call a duplicate panel with all the same buttons, except for the hard volume buttons, so one panel with plasma speaker control, and another with amp volume control

What I'd like to do is use the same panel, and not have to maintain the two panels.

Any advice?

Cheers, Lee

Hi Go,

Indeed I do. Are you thinking power sensing?

I was hoping that it might be achievable with a bit of prontoscript? Do you know if it's possible to assign IR/RS232 functions in Prontoscript to a button?

Cheers, Lee

Yes you can send Ir and RS232 codes via Pronto Script, take a look at the DEV guide or do a search on this forum there a few examples on here.

Hi go,

Yes, I do that when I send TCP/IP commands via prontoscript, and IR commands and sound file for my channel buttons.

My problem is if I send the same commands at the same time, when I switch back to the other set of speakers (plasma or amp based), the volume level could well be very different (and VERY loud)

I can overcome come this on both devices with a level command to specify the audio level when the the Denon amp is switched on/off.

Just the job!

Cheers, Lee
