What's the most economic and easiest solution for Pronto control lighting in a room? I have a dimmer and a switch that I want to replace with a lighting solution. IR is out of the question because the dimmers are not in line of sight. Can someone reccomend a relatively inexpensive lighting product that will work with a TSU9400 and RFX9400 (no serial control).

Thanks

If you can run a cat-5 to the switch location you can send I.R. from your 9400 to Lutron dimmer SSP-600

If you want something cheap and cheerful, but not always reliable, you could use X10 wish an IR543 to interface between the Pronto and the X10.

I've been thinking about upgrading my simple X10 setup which at times can be quite unreliable with INSTEON products instead which work via RF as well. Looking specifically at the IR to INSTEON Converter along with various types of dimmers and so forth that I'd need. Perhaps someone will chime in as to the INSTEON product line I'm considering as this may be a good choice for you as well. In my case I only need very basic lighting control as my IR543/X10 solution currently provides. Would just like something more reliable that doesn't use power line solely as X10 does.
