Hello !

I'm new to this forum and let me first say hello to you all.

I have pronto 9800, and I downloaded IR codes for LG TV.

The problem is, they are working fine, but they seems to repeat themselves for few times (2-3). Let's say I enter menu mode, then push arrows left/right, but instead one movement i have at least two.

I am fairly new user to PEP2, so any suggestion can help !

Thx in advance !

L.

For the component function in the database, try adjusting the Duration setting for the IR code to something rather small.

How did you get these codes? Did you learn them? If the latter, please post the IR code data for one of the learned IR codes.

Thanks for so quick reply !

The TV is LG 42LH4000, I downloaded them from web, I have it in form an excel table. One code that I copy-pasted from downloaded sheet:

0000 006D 0000 0024 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94
(Function P+)

Also, I had to learn 0-9 digits, and learned codes are something like this:

0000 006D 0016 0002 0000 0000 0003 003F 0005 003F 0006 003F 0008 003F 0009 0015 0009 0015 0007 0015 0008 0015 0008 003F 000E 0015 000C 0015 000C 0015 000C 003F 0015 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 05F5 0156 0055 0016 0E43

(the digit 0)

It seems that i have "maintain" function, but I need to send only one code.

Also, I tried to set duration on Minimum (from Default), its on 0.01 seconds now, and cannot get it smaller.

*EDIT*
Learned codes seems to work fine, the downloaded not. Any ideas why ?

Thx

In my experience, downloaded codes often don't work well. Just use the learned ones.

The learned codes are not clean. Learn again and wait until the remote screen says "Learning". Press and hold button on OEM remote until the Pronto beeps.

With regard to:

0000 006D 0000 0024 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

Change to:

0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

And I bet you see better results. I made last 2 pairs of codes repeating vs one-shot which you can do quite easily with the NEC IR protocol.

For a better understanding of what I did, see Barry Gordon's Pronto Hex IR Format word doc from User Documentation subsection of Classic Pronto Files section.

Have you tried the Only One Remote Database Codes?

The ones named LG/TV/Codes Group 1 should work.

Cheers
