I looked around for an answer to this and haven't found one, so...
TSU9400: I recently got an Escient MX111 music server, which is not in the database. So I selected one of the Escients that is in the database to use. I set up all my macros, etc., and it appeared to work fine in the simulator. Then I downloaded it into the 9400.
After it downloaded I got an error message that said "some items were discarded because they are not configured correctly in the editor." Then it listed 241 errors showing all the activites that were discarded. When the MX111 is selected on the Pronto, some don't work at all, some do incorrect functions, and some buttons are blank. Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks,
Ed

If something is discarded it means that it was removed from the config at download time not because it did nothing but because it was wrongly configured (used an inexisting extender, command doesn't exist for that device in the database etc).
Check the list and then look at all (or at least) some of the entries on the list and check against the config. If in the Actions window you have Yellow triangles with exclamation marks in it, that action will be discarded.
If you don't find the answer you can post your xcf, and we can try to help.
