Hi!

I'm very noob on this RC world and this is my first play with this fancy RC.

So, my setup here at my home is based on the following devices:

- Samsung LED TV
- Denon 1910 A/V Receiver
- Xbox360 Elite
- PS3 Slim + Harmony PS3 Adapter
- RC Philips Pronto TSU9400
- My Cable TV Decoder

So, what I'm trying to archive is the following features(and the problems I'm facing):

1. Control all those devices using TSU RC(ofc its the basic one)
2. Power ON/OFF PS3 using the TSU with Harmony PS3 Adapter
- I can only power on, since power OFF on a regular PS3 joystick, is made by pressing PS butoon for 3 seconds, then the confirmation message shows up on XMB, than you can press X to shutdown it.
3. I have an Activity for sample called, "Watch Live TV", when I touch it, it call PowerOn Functions on all related devices(TV, Cable, Receiver) and them move to the TV Page on Control.
- The problem is, if some device is already powered up, it just shutdown it, making me take up and go manually power on the poweredoff device.

I dont have the Extender device being sold here in Brazil, and import it will cost a lot of Tax.

So, in the basic, I figured out a way(theorically) to handle this.

I dont know ProntoScript and dont found any place where people share Scripts, or their projects(if someone know where I can find it, please share the link with me).

The way I figured out, in theory, to handle it is(except for PS3 since its a bit diff):
1. When Pronto control is powered ON, create some kind of static/global variable for each device I have.
2. Store the Device Power State on those variables.(at power on of the RC, all them should be false)
3. when I select, for sample, "Watch Live TV", create some code what will do something like this pseudo-code:
if(!MyDevice.PowerOn)
{
    ExecTask1(); //To Power On the device
    MyDevice.PowerOn = true;
}
//The device is already powered on, so run the following tasks
ExecTask2();
ExecTastX();
...
JumpToChannelSelectionPage();
...

So, every time I select one activity, it should check the "pseudo-power-sense" variable and do all the following tasks. How can I do it?

Also, as far as I saw, a button can have OR some set of predefined actions OR one ProntoScript. Not boths. So, is there a way to I can run both?

And my last point. About TSU9400 + Harmony PS3 Adapter. How can I power off the PS3 with it?

Thanks!

I really appreciate if someone can gimme a hand with those questions. I'm trying to handle it myself for the last 3 months after my RC arived.

If someone can help me with it, I'll post here later how my Pronto Project was done, so people can use as reference.

Thanks again!

Best regards...
