but ive had this ru940 for about 8 years and never programmed properly
and really havent used it after the first 6 months .so it has stayed stagnent for a few years.

but when ever ive turned it on it worked everytime then today i go to it as the battery was down on my tv and it lit up showed the icons then froze straight away........
so i pressed the reset button
and the screen lights up and the hard buttons aswell (changed batteries adjusted contrast) but its just blank when i reset it beeps twice but then nothing

i have never plugged it into a computer or anything like that.i originally just had the two remote facing each other..

i hope somebody can point me in the right direction. as im new to all this i dont want to plug it in to my computer and download something that isnt the right thing or remove screws and take apart
hi i have no idea of what a signature is as i really am a 60% computer idiot. i have had this remote since 2002 and never really realised the full potential of it, until now

You might need to reinstall your configuration . It might be corrupt . Keep it plugged into the base when you reinstall .
Project Boredom 2 is here. [Link: mediafire.com]

This is the wrong forum for the RU940. Go to the Pronto Classic forum.

You may need to take unit apart and reseat the screen ribbon cables then. Search Classic Pronto Forum for +replace +screen.

I seem to remember the RU940 only working with windows 98 and xp , may be it might work in the xp mode in win 7, but im not sure.
