Anyone know if it is possible to replicate the codes used for the new Tivo Slider QWERTY remote? I know it says someting about bluetooth but lists my old Tivo HD as being compatible...

I read through the above referenced document and saw a glimmer of hope. If there are no free USB ports, the FAQ suggests using their 'n' adapter. This is a curious comment because I could not find a clear statement that the Slider supports both Blue-tooth and WiFi. If the comment is correct, this indicates that it is possible to use the keyboard feature from the Ethernet connection. Finding documentation for the protocol is another matter.

In fact, you can send all TiVo remote commands, including the new QWERTY keyboard keys, over a TCP/IP connection. This works great from the Pronto Pros and it's how I control my TiVos. Here's some details: [Link: tivocommunity.com]Jeff

Do you have a working Pronto TSU TCP/IP module for the Tivo that you can share?
