Hi guys,

Did a quick search and couldn't find this problem.

I have a new 9600 and apart from this minor problem all is well. The change from PENG to PEP 1 was easy ... just had to resize and format for screen aspect ratio.

Anyway ... I started to have a play with PEP 2 and was changing a label on a button, using Calibri font and decided to use a font size that wasn't in the drop down list, so I directly entered it. Instantly the entire page disappeared and was replaced by a red outline and diagonals. The page seemed to have been corrupted and was not recoverable.

Anyone else seen this ?

Cheers,
Peter M

Peter,

I've also seen similar behaviour in PEP2, but just the once. As in your case it arose when manually changing the font size to a non-drop down value. Not sure whether the entire page or just the widget in question was replaced by a big red cross. As I recall, I was able to select a font size from the list to correct the situation and have never seen it since.

Are you able to replicate the behaviour with different pages / widgets etc?

I've seen the red diagonal too. Evidently, there are other causes that can trigger the red diagonal because I don't use off the grid font sizes. I restart PEP2, manually terminating the program if necessary.

OK ... well obviously it's not just me. I didn't do any testing to see if I could replicate the problem, as I was really only playing with PEP 2. I might try it again and muck about a bit more to try to recover.

I have seen similar behavior trying to enter font size values not in the drop down list with PEP2. Has anyone devised a way to successfully use such sizes, or are we limited to just those predetermined sizes in the list?
