Hi,
When I turned it off via the on/off switch on the left clock and date reset. Does anyone has same issue?

Likely working as designed. These remotes don't have a hardware-based realtime clock and therefore when you power off the unit, you are effectively shutting down the CPU. The only way to get the time back is to download a config to the unit at which point the time is synchronized with the PC.
