I have a tsu7000 that lights up, powers up, goes to the calibrate screen, but does not respond to touch. I've tried resetting, removing the battery, but nothing. Anyone experience this and know a solution?

You might consider posting in the NG forum as this is the Professional forum for the TSU9600 and not the older 7X00 series remotes.
If it does not respond to the touch screen, take a thin glossy business card and slide around the edge of the screen between the glass and plastic bezel and make sure nothing is stuck in there. Otherwise, if that does not work, replacing the glasstop is an option. All you need to do is to search in the NG forum for +replace +7000 +screen for last 2-4 years and you should find some links where you can buy a glasstop for around, I think, $60USD.
