i have the same problem...
i cant for the life of me get the wifi to work
i have a linksys router
Router address is 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server is Enabled for IP address 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.254
set on WAP, no passphrase.
although when i go to myip.com it gives me a compleatly different ip address.
which one do i use and how should the settings be?
someone said to "In the wireless setting of the AP make sure it is set to “ G only”
where would i do that?
in the system page on my pronto for wireless i have it set up:
use control panel: with wireless & serial extender and/or music server ( do i need a wireless extender to access my laptop?)
Wireless timeout: Twenty Four Hours
selected DHCP
SSID (my network name)
encryption: WEP64

i downloaded tunes for pronto, event ghost, bought onepad server (installed both WMC and WMP) cant get anything to work

what am i doing wrong???? :(

Start with this. You set it in the AP itself, not the Pronto.

I mean on the router itself - Pronto only works on a G only network.

also what IP address do i use on the other programs (eventghost,weather.com,padone,itunes for pronto)? the one from myip.com or the 192.168.1.XXX
