I have a TSU9400 configuration developed with PEP 9400 V1.1 that is working perfectly. To stay current, I would like to convert it to PEP V2. However, I got stuck on the 2 step from Peter Dewalt's sticky post:

1. Make sure all the IR codes in the code pages have ascii names (no symbols)
2. Do a device--> right click. Save to My Database. Add correct info (brand, type, model)
3. Open ‘Database quick access’ and re-drag all the codes to the code page

How do I add the correct info (brand, etc.)? My first device is a Motorola 3416 (Cable DVR). I learned the IRs because that devise is not listed in the factory database.

I am feeling rather stupid at the moment.

Pick whatever device name/model you want. When you load the config into PEPv2, your database will be imported and the name/model you used will be made available.
