hello,

I was reading this forum for several weeks, but today I will post my first thread. I have bought a new TSU9400 and as you can think I have several questions about this nice toy.

I have the following HIFI/Video-components and was not able to find any in the database....

-- TV: Sharp Aquos LC-46 X20E
-- SAT-Receiver: Dreambox 7025ss
-- A/V-Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR347
-- CD/DVD-Player: Harman Kardon DVD47

So where can I find the IR-Codes for them and what next steps should I do now.

thx for your help and sorry if my questions are not in the correct area.

The first step would be to try and use a code set that is close. Like the Harman AVR340 for instance. It's rare for a manufacture to drasticly change a code set for each and every model and year. The odds are that power and input commands for Harman receivers have been the same on most models for several generations.

If something isn't in the list at all you can always create a new device in the database and learn all the codes off the origional remote into the software and then map the functions to your pronto layout as you see fit.

Also you can import alternate databases into Pronto Edit. Here is a link to one from "only 1 remote" [Link: onlyoneremote.com] it mainly deals with current and the most popular models but there might be something in here you can use. (the link to download is at the bottom of the page under the logo "Database")

Hello Zephir007,

thank you very much for your reply, I know that I have to invest some time to get familiar with this remote. It 's not the same way to configure the Pronto 9400 like a Logitech Harmony....

I hope it worth the time and I will not be disappointed!

bye

In the end, you will have much more control than with the harmony as you can do advanced thing via scripting (Javascript).
