Can anyone convert this to HEX?:

Discrete off:
Hex code: 91h
NEC-Format
Custom Code: 8355h

It is the information provided by Epson for the discrete power off for the 6500UB.

There are several variants of NEC format. If you have any of them learned and working post the hex codes for a few so I can see which variant and I will give you the one you need

NEC1 and NEC2 are the most common NEC Protocols, so try these.

NEC1
Device Code: 131.85 Function: 145
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

NEC2
Device Code: 131.85 Function: 145
0000 006D 0000 0022 0157 00AC 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0689

WOW! You did it! The first one is it. Much kudos, as three forums are trying to figure it out :)

The only difference between the two is the way the repeat capability is handled.

In NEC1 the primaty command is the first burst set and the second burst set is a short sequence of 4 words that means "Do it again"

In NEC2 The entire command is repeated as long as the button is held down.
