Anyone hear of or know if a Boxee module is planned or discussed?

I remember seeing a post for the XBMC ( Xbox Media Center ). Boxee is like a super-mod of that project . I have XBMC on a Linux system and I use a Windows Media Center remote receiver via USB . When I use a Windows Media Center activity it controls XBMC pretty well. I never tried the Windows version of XBMC . I think Boxee works on Windows and Linux with a future versions for MAC. I also heard a rumor that a Boxee Machine may come out at some point.

Never heard of a Boxee module.

What type of stuff should a module have in it and what type of system do you have running Boxee ?

(I can't find any post regarding an XBMC module that alpha refers to)

XBMC (and therefore Boxee) have an integrated HTTPd API which would support the Pronto over wifi very naturally. A module would just need the URL / port of the machine where XBMC (or Boxee) was running and then provide a collection of prontoscript calls for each exposed function of XBMC, mapped to buttons in a nice UI for the pronto. There is potential do neat stuff, such as browsing through your movie library, with DVD covers etc. on the Pronto's screen.

I'd like to see such a module, and it's on my list of things to create (if one doesn't already exist), although to be honest it's fairly low priority for me because I already have this control established via IR from to my previous remote, and after learning the codes it just works with my Pronto as is. I've still got plenty of other things to set up on the Pronto before I'd bother replace my existing, working IR->Boxee setup.
