I have a whole house audio system made by a company called HTD (its great, price great too).

The wall panels have IR remotes for them, and I have been trying to teach it to my 7000, and 7500 to no avail. Both tethered to the PC and as a standalone. It thinks it learns it, but it doesnt work.

I recently bought a 9600 for my home theater, which is great, and it has been able to learn the codes- AND IT WORKS! :) Woohoo!

I have tried copying the HEX codes from the 9600 to the 7000, and also tried teaching the 7000 from the 9600. When I teach it, it thinks it works (just like before) but it behaves the same way- it doesnt actually work.

Anyone encountered this before?

(sorry, i double posted this over on the NG forum- I didnt know where would be best)

Show us an example of such a code.

Also, you may need to play around with duration.

I have tried playing with the duration, and the wall plate "lights up"- which is what it does when it picks up on any IR signal at all.

This is the code for power toggle:
0000 006D 0013 0001 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0030 0010 0010 0030 0030 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 0030 0010 052B 0030 0010 0030 0010 0010 0030 0010 0030 0030 0010 0010 0030 0030 0010 0010 0030
