Cross Stitch is close, but that language is more graphic in its description. It is actually the language of Knitting. Basic operations knit and perl, subroutines (with substitutable arguments i.e yarn colors), if statements, while loops...

The language's roots dates back to the developing of instructions for the weaving of tapestries. which were eventually used (as programs) to drive weaving looms (processors) in the Numerical Control sense to produce an output (Rug or Tapestry).
