I believe that Harmony is PC programmable. RC9800i is NOT. RC9800i is WiFi but I think the only thing you may gain is the ability to download TV Listings (you will need to research this). If you want a remote that you can change the images on the screen and supply your own graphics, then the 9800i is most likely not for you.

Dear Lyndel, thanks for your replay... can you please help me more to make my maind and take the decision about which one i will buy...

i dont care about the graphics change in the screen.. the main thing which i care about is that i want the remote to control all my current devices, and the future one. is the 9800i well do?

one more thing, how many devices i can manage to control with the 9800i??
last qustion please, do you advice me to spend some more $, and get the Harmony? or do you thing that the 9800, is more than enough for me, if you no that i need it only to control my devices and to be uptodate with the new devices.....??

Iam very sorry for make it too long... i will be appreciate if you advice me...

Thanks

Don't forget that the RC9800i supports UPnP and the Harmony doesn't. If you want to use the device to control content on a PC (which I'm guessing you do based on your listing of Creative Jukebox in your equipment list) this will be amazingly useful. While viewing pictures on the remote control may not be that useful, being able to browse and control your music collection from the remote is pretty nice. This is a pretty nice feature to get at the $500 price point.

If you don't care about being able to design the remote yourself and just want all of your equipment to work with one remote, I'd definitely go with the 9800i; it's also a lot sleeker looking. HTH.

Dude, I don't want to start anything but go to the RC9800i forum and see what people are saying about it and you'll probably realize you don't want it.
