Is this the same as the one on the Pronto site?
While I haven't used any of the components from it yet, I have browsed through it, and I have to say that it is so much cleaner than what Philips tossed together.

Jon,
First of all thanks for the kind words. Yes, Philips also has the update posted on their site. They contracted with us to compile this database and specifically gear it to the new editor. Hopefully you will find that when you use it, conflict resolution will be greatly minimized when you replace a component. And please,
the older Philips database is not something they threw together. It is a purchased database that several other manufacturers use as well. They put enough thought into the situation to realize that there is a better way and that's why the O1R database exists. We would not have done this without their support.

Can you give me any help with the new hex format? For lack of a better term, the "EECF" format. Can you tell me how this compares to the recoded Pronto Format. Translate, convert, decode, any help at all. Sometimes it helps to know this information when you are trying to create Discrete codes for odd devices, like Comcast Remotes. Any help would be appreciated, we are all looking for the same results, a better working remote control.

Stan, Do you have a process for people to submit code updates to you? The first component I started changing was missing some critical codes. Device: Panasonic Plasma - SDHC (photo slideshows) - PiP Split - PiP Swap

So the Philips site says it works for PEP1 but the OnlyOneRemote site only mentions PEP2. Since I can't get it to work with PEP1, I'm assuming that the Philips site is wrong.
Or am I doing something wrong?
