Hi,
I've been using "older" Pronto remotes in the past years. Now I jumped t a TSU 9600 and I'm kind of lost with trying to find how to learn IR codes from equipement original remote controls as I used to do xith other Prontos. As far as I understood, such an option exists. Is someone kind enough to spend a few minuts to explain the way to do it?
In avance thank you.

A very good day to everybody.

Supposing you are using PEP 2 these are the steps :
- open my database
- click new component(left top icon)
- choose the type, model name and IR or RS type
- edit component functions
- add new function - learn test
good luck

For PE2:
Go to "My Database" -> Select your Device (or make a new one) -> Press "COMPONENT FUNCTION" at the buttom -> Add a "new Function" and press LEARN... than you should put your original to the pronto and press the button...

Alternative:
Press F1 -> "Looking into Pronto...." -> My Database -> (Fast) Learn

edit: I'm to slow ;)

Not trying to be rude, but have you read the manual? In my version of the manual, there is section entitled 'Add an IR code in the configuration file by learning'.

The process depends on which version of the editing software you are using (PEPV1 or PEPV2). The manual is, I think, the PEPV1 method. In PEPV2, you have to go into 'My Database', set up the device and associated functions and then hit the learn button.

Hi,
Thakyou folks, and to say the truth, but in fact I can't find the manual and I was not smart enough to go and check the file area. Now it's done and I printed a brand new manual.
A good day to all of you.
