Hi Folks,

Using the latest PEP2. What am I missing??? This is frustrating!!

How do I get codes into the PEP2 database without doing them by hand, via cut and paste?

In PEP1, I import a .pcf file. All the codes I want are there. I save the .xcf file.

I open the .xcf file in PEP 2 and get the IR code warning that all of the codes cannot be imported.

So, what is the trick to bring codes over to the PEP2 database?

Thx Dave

Dave, I hope you did not uninstall PEPV1 (see sticky threads)

What you do is import the codes from your PEPV1 configs into a PEPV1 database and then install PEPV2 and your DB gets converted. It's not elegant, no import option is available but that's the process for now. (maybe you could also try the option to open a different database - one from PEPV1 - to see if that would work.)

Here's another post that covers what you likely already know in PEPV1. Somewhere else in this forum is a thread authored by Peter, I believe, that discusses the database conversion.

If you have not guessed, I don't use PEPV2 in production as of yet as there are several key features that are missing that I must have prior to use.
