Hello. There are several threads about the Apple Remotes here already, but none that fixes my problem.

My problem is that I have one AppleTV and one Mac Mini and want to control both using my TSU9600.

In order to not control both at the same time, each has a paired remote control, meaning that the IR code is altered in some way. I'm not HEX master, so I can't tell you what differs, but somehow it's different.

So, I have taught these paired codes to my TSU9600 and it's working as it should - except it won't scroll.

The Apple Remote seems to send out a separate signal after holding the button for a short while, and I'm assuming that it's also an altered "paired" version.

Anyone has a good solution as to how to solve this? Am I going to have to have a second setup of buttons for "long holds" or scrolling?

Please help me! :)

did you try learning the codes while holding the up and down buttons for longer to see if that works? Also try altering the code duration to a shorter time to see if that helps.

im presuming you dont have one of the Pronto links in there? you can assign component to different IR Ports with these units which would allow you to use the unpaired codes which are also in the Philips Database.

Yeah, I've tried it all - nothing helps. Now I can't even get the normal click to work. I have to press up several times on the pronto for the Mac to register it :(

No, I don't

Always helps those who understand and dig into ProntoHex if you could post the IR code data of the code that is not working.

Any way you can post the data?
