If you are working on a file in PEP 2, and you are already using a device in the " My Database", and then you add a Ir code to that device, it will not update your file , you will need to do a " Replace Componet" with the same one for the updat to be transferd to your working file....

Got me puzzeled for a while :)

PEP2 warns you when the IR code in your file and in My Database is not the same.

I do the following..

Have aproject open

Go to My database, and add an extra IR code to a device that you already have in your project. (eg tv)

At this point you click on go to project , not "add to project' because if you do the add to project you end up with 2 devices the same.

so now when you go back to the project you have to a replace componet to get the addional features..

Unless you know another way of doing this?

i still miss the links function :(

Are you using the latest V2? There was a bug that new codes did not show up unless you exited PEP and opened again.
