Today Philips has give us a christmas gift: PEP version 2.1.18.
(I think more people no this because the download rate is low ;) )

What's new:
With this important update for PEP2 some very useful improvements and new features are now available, like:

Vista 64 bit support: PEP2 now supports the Microsoft Vista 64 bit operating system.
Merge function: Now you can just like in PEP1 merge other projects into the opened project. This will bring you more flexibility and may save you time.
Activities in Gallery support IR codes: If you save complete activties (like Watch TV) for later reuse, now not only the graphics but also the IR and serial codes will be stored.
Delete function for gallery items: Instead of managing your gallery items via Windows Explorer you can now delete them in PEP2.
Direct access to Project browser: There is now an icon available to directly select Open Project in the project browser. This way of opening a project will give you additional information about the projects.
My Database tabs improved: It’s now more intuitive to make selections within the My Database, Philips Database and Other Database tabs in the My Database view.
Also many small problems have been solved and the FAQ has been updated with the latest facts.

I downloaded it once and had a file corruption error. I downloaded it again and got the same error. If anyone has a good version of the .zip file, could they post it here for the rest of us to use?

Thanks!

I managed to get it first try without anything being corrupt... It took about 20 mins to download though.

I'm in the process of putting it up on RC right now... should be ready in about 10 minutes. Hopefully will download faster.

The RC version works like a charm. Thank you very much!

(too bad you still can't resize the application window, the one feature I'd really like to have! :-<)

As in the previous versions, SHIFT + drag handles doesn't lock aspect ratio, as mentionned in the help file

Looks like the only real significant feature is merge and Vista (cannot test this). I was hoping for zoom with properties visible.

After upgrading to PEP2 v2.1.18
I'm unable to add my selfmade buttons. According to the doc this should be in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Philips\ProntoEdit Professional 2.0\Gallery\Buttons but this directory doesn't exists.
How can I add my selfmade PNG to the Gallery?

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Philips\ProntoEdit Professional 2\Gallery\Buttons
That's the directory on my laptop.

I added my own buttons again, no problems..
