Hi,
There appear to be several developments where you can enter a URL of a PC, and use these images as a screensaver / picture viewer.
Although I have a PC, I am loathed to leave it running 24/7 just to stream pics to my pronto.
Could one of these applications be amended to pull images stored in the XCF instead. I understand that there is limited storage space, but with decently compressed JPEG images, you could get a few in the memory of the Pronto.
Sound like an idea?
Cheers, Lee

Yes that can be done but image maintenance then becomes the headache

Well I proved it can be done, you just need to think about a nice way to present it to the user so it doesn't cause a headache.. Lee threw down the gauntlet and I took up the challenge and added it to ProntoPic.
So far most users seem to be getting it.

Hi Tenchi,
Yep, some fine work there! It's a great little app.
