Greetings,

I have done several searches and have not been able to locate an answer to this problem. I am running PEP 1.1 and Windows Vista on my laptop. I can't restore my Database codes by choosing the import option. When I try I got an error that says that the file is Read Only and that I should choose another file name. I checked the extension and it is .db.

I downloaded the most recent 2008 Database codes from Philips and that won't work either. I have read through the PEP help which doesn't offer any insights.

Thanks..
Regards,

Ralph

I'm not a Vista Pro.... Still sticking with XP Pro for the moment: Have you checked the flag on the db file to see if it is read only. If the new / import file was pulled from a CD, the read-only flag is usually set. Also it sounds like it could be the current db for PEP 1.1 that is flagged as read only thus suggest you check both.

Hope this helps :-).
