I've converted my config from PEP1 to PEP2 and have the following issue: I have a button on the front page that, when pressed, turns on the TV, the A/V receiver and switches the Input of the TV to AV2, then jumps to the Sat TV activity; pretty trivial stuff.

While this worked out just fine in PEP1, the same codes (clean database codes, not learned) in the same order, when used in PEP2 result in the following behaviour: When pressed, the TV and the AV/R switch on, but the input of the TV goes to "TV". If I press the same button again, the input goes to AV2 as it should but each time the button is pressed again, the input switches between TV and AV2. I've tried this with all input codes for my TV (AV1, AV3, AV4) and the behaviour is the same.

The interesting things for me are:
1) This behavior does not exhibit in PEP1, and
2) when each TV input code is pressed on its own, it doesn't switch back to "TV". Obviously a workaround would be to remove the TV "Power On" command prior to the input switch command but I would appreciate any ideas on what is causing this issue...

Thank you for your time.

Cutter,

Are you sure you are using the latest version of PEPV2 and the latest firmware? Also, could you be so kind as to tell us which remote?

I think I'm fully up to date. My remote is the TSU9400, the PEP version is 2.0.36.0 and the FW is 3.0.11. My TV is a Sony CRT KV32FX65-E, if it helps...

You need at least FW 5,06 to operate properly with PEP2

Actually, my FW is indeed the latest (6.0.21); I got mixed up before since I was looking at the setting page of my Pronto, where 3.0.11 is the version of the IR firmware.

Have you tried adjusting the duration of your IR codes?
