Greetings,

I just ordered both units and expect them in a few days. I have my TSU7000 .pcf converted to .xcf and it looks good from what I can see.

I noticed that there isn't an option for selecting IR or wireless for each of my devices. The main system properties has a wireless settings page but that is all I see. I assume that wireless/IR set for each of the devices can be done once the RFX 9400 is in the loop and configured?

Is there anything outside of the instructions contained in the RFX manual that I should aware of? I have downloaded the latest firmware for both the TSU/RFX units. Are there any issues there that I should be aware of?

I appreciate any responses.

Regards,

Ralph

IR direct and wireless can be mixed. If you want both functions for one device you copy this device. Device A1 is IR, device A2 is wireless or opposite.

Much fun with the new controller.

Greetings,

Thanks, I figured that. Setting this up is done via the RFX9400 once it is connected?

Regards,

Ralph

Ralph P,

The TSU connects to your wireless network or directly to an RFX-9400. You can address multiple RFX units.

Make sure that you have correctly defined the addressing in your program and on the RFX's.

In your program each device will have one mode of communication defined. This can be direct IR or through one of the RFX IR ports.

If you need a reality check, view the IR emitter through a digital camera's display.
