I have one port on my RFX9600 which seems to have lost power. It has enough power to drive a directly connected IR port, but not enough to drive an emitter. By the way, I have not moved the power setting, it is still set to high. I did switch it to low to try it, but still no luck (moved it back to high). For example, I can take an emitter that "flashes" and move it to all the other ports and it works great (flashes), but not on port 1. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Why create a new thread? Find your old one and add a post with text "bump".

Sorry, this is a different thread. Not a 232 issue/questions that I was having before! Should I change the title? Sorry, thought this would be best. Thanks. SJ

My sincerest apologies. I just saw a thread not 2 days ago where someone was having problems IIRC, with IR port #1 on an RFX9600. Thought this was same problem.

4 questions. 1) Are you running latest firmware on RFX9600? 2) Have you power cycled 9600 since you noticed this problem? 3) what firmware are you running on the remote. 4) What type of remote?

Here's the thread that I reference above.
