Hi!
I have a problem with making the RFX9600 to control my devices with RS-232. I tried to control Pioneer PDP-42MXE10 and Kramer VS808XL unsuccesfully. I have the codes from technical manuals, and I see the LED display on the RFX9600 blinking busy once I press the button. But there is nothing going on with the devices.
It seems that I'm doing something wrong, because the IR outputs are working just fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what am I doing wrong?

Make sure you understand the wiring scheme for both sides of the RS-232, at the RFX9600 as well as the RS-232 input on your device. You may to switch wire 2 & 3 on one side.

also, make sure you have done the firmware update on the RFX9600. RS232 functionality is affected by the wrong firmware version and could be part of your problems.

Thanks ddarche!
I have succeded controling the plasma. I didn't input the codes corectly. Does anyone knows the exact procedure how to input the hex codesfoe Kramer? For example: "01 81 81 81". Do I just write this in, or do I have to write something else?
