currently have a pronto 9400, but will add a 9800 desktop remote to my collection if i can get this to do what i want.

Basicly i have a media center pc with aound 400films on, including blu-ray and hd-dvds.

i use a program called my movies to index all these and it works very well.

They have just released a web browser for there program that alows you to view and launch a film from the computer.

would it be posible to incorp this web browser in to a philips pronto?

here is some refrence matterial

The 9800 does not have a web browser but if you know what the format of an HTTP request is to trigger a disc to play, for example, you could build that into prontoscript.

In short, there is no built-in, ready to go, easy way to access MyMovies at this time.

Paxtond, you have to wait until somewhere around the releasedate of My Movies 3 (MCML). There will be a way to communicate, I'm not sure if it will be what you want but it will be capable.

Paxtond, can you give more information about your pc system (hardware and software).

Windows media center, if you have 400 dvds stored, you need minimum 2 HDDs.
How is your software (do you have extra software for this?) showing the titles in one screen? Without changing the files?

You are looking probably to a system similar to caleidoscape video server.
I´m interested in such a system also.

Sounds very interesting. Questions is:
who is knowing or owning a script for this?

From my understanding the first step is a navigation with IR commands of windows media center edition. Here is the base of commands the windows remote control. Especially for pictures and dvd´s you need a screen for displaying. This screen is for feed back of navigation also. The same for music, if the music is in the same room. For controlling music in zones it is better to have controlling feed back on the TSU9600. I´m using here squeezebox and the script Prontosqeeze.

But I´m also interested in a script for a complete integration with one surface.
