If you are running with the 'default' options of JSLint, you should get NO complaints about missing functions such as System.setGlobal() or System.getGlobal().
For all the scripts I write that are production ready, I maintain a rule that with JSLint, there are 0 Warnings and 0 Errors reported. As the default JSLint settings don't ensure that a variable is declared before it is referenced, I can still have some bugs in runtime that have to be fixed but JSLint saves me TONS of time and prevents having to debug simple syntax errors.
