I am programming a TSU9600. I am having trouble with my channel macros. Some work, some don't. The ir codes for the digits test fine. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
Also, Does anybody know where to get discrete codes for Russound Cav6.6 and LG TV's? I need discrete input buttons for the LG.

If you don't have any delay between the digits you send then try adding some.

I am using the channel macro wizard that automatically puts delays in

So, what are you seeing when a button does not work?

Experiment with shorter delays. I think by default the channel macro wizard puts in .50 second, which usually is quite long.

Try adding the commands from the device itself. Just linking the numbers and the enter key without delays worked for me.

I tried your suggestons, but the problem still exists. Some of my channel macros work while others don't. For instance, CNN sends command 2,delay,0,delay,0. But only 2,0 goes to the Sat recvr. Why won't the other zero work? other channels work great, some don't work at all! Any othe suggestions please?

Have you experimented with the IR emitter placement on your Satellite receiver? You may not have the IR emitter optimally placed. Having the IR emitter positioned directly in line with the IR receiver window for instance is not always the best placement.

Sound like You are experiencing IR issues. Here are few questions to help narrow down the problem:

1- What device are you trying to control?

2- Are you using any of the extenders (RFX....)?

3- Are the same macros commands the ones who always fails?

4- Is the component you are controling exposed to any source of "flooding" lights? (plasma's TV and fluresends lights are some time cultprits).

5- Have you try using the actual remote in IR modes aiming the device it self?

If you can, elaborate your responses and we help you get this taken care off!

Have you tried increasing the delay?

I was able to fix the problem with help from someone in tech support at philips. I made the duration of the ir code longer in my database. The commands work just fine now. I appreciate the help from everybody. Thank you!

Jason, for the sake of the rest of us, can you let us know what duration you originally had and what you changed it to?

The duration was set to default, I think like .3 sec. i don't remember exactly. I changed the duration to .60. The codes much better now.
