So what happens if you run the current XCF on a 9600 without any changes? It works, but only takes up a fraction of the screen?

Wishmaster -

Are you a programmer or do you know any good ones for the 9400 Pronto? I'm in Chicago, and just doing my research.

You are obviously way ahead of the curve.

Why does everyone knock the Phillips Pronto when it seems like the best solution in the industry for the price?

Dear Wishmaster, dear users of Pronto TV,

I have following problem:

If I start Pronto TV V2.1 the CPU load is increasing step by step to 100%.
The system is hanging after about 15-20min

System:
Video server: playing alone: ca. 40% CPU load; if status off; no load; no problems

Active Web cam 10.9: ca. 40-50 CPU load; ca. 55% if the pictures are displayed at my monitor; no problems

Pronto TV: starting with ca. 50%; if I finish the use at the TSU9600, the active webcam software is NOT reducing the CPU load, problems after ca. 15 min.

Hardware
TSU9600 with 640x480 resolution; I rezised the main widget (output)

Video server: giving pictures 640x480

Active webcam: HTTP modus

PC: Intel mobile 1,8GHz, 1 GB RAM (RAM load is nearly not changing and no problem)

Test: small resolution 320x240 -> same effect

Any idea? Is the PC hardware not powerfull enough or is it a problem with the script?

Blang,

Do you think I could take a look at your Pronto-TV file for the 9600?

Thanks so much.

Hi,

tried the script both on 9400 and 9600,
And couldn't make it work,

"Pronto script error" line #86 image is not reconstructed...
It's seems like script can't find the image folder ...

Any Ideas ?

Do you see on your PC TV with active webcam?
Did you check the Active webcam setup (http, fps, compression...)?
PC Performance?
IP setup O.K.?

Thanks Blang,

I appreciate it. I've been trying to import the pages into a 9600 file and have had no luck of any kind, if you could send the.xcf, that would be great. I'd like to be able to watch my backyard and driveway cameras when my girls are outside playing, right on the remote. I am also assuming if I create multiple pages with different IP's, then I can access more than one camera.

to Noel: the email is on the way

to Ofer: How did you upload the screenshots?

I would like to upload my Active webcam setup and we can compare these settings.
Your hardware is showing ca. 23% CPU load. What CPU are you using?
Best regards

Is anybody out there using Pronto TV without problems?
So many positive reactions but who is using it troublefree?
It seems most of the users could realize a short testrun; but long term use?
Stable TV viewing for hours, days, weeks?
Please inform us, if the script is doing this in your configuration.
Thanks
