Hi, First time posting here and a few (or more) questions:
1. Can anyone confirm that if I pick up a US TSU9600 when I'm over in America that I will have no problems using it in the UK? I'm aware that I'll need a US->UK power adaptor.

2. Is firmware updating "regionalised"? Will I have any problems updating the remote.

3. Likewise, are the Certificate Levels regionalised?

4. Does anyone have discrete codes for an LG 47" LCD model 47LF65?

Cheers

Well, after more looking through the forum threads (lazy me!) I've found the answers to my first two questions and, think the answer to question 3 is "No, they are not". I've also downloaded the PEP and notice that there is a database entry for LG Flat TV, will this work with my model TV?

Cheers

will this work with my model TV?

Open factory database- import (xx) component to my database.
Go to my database and display properties- plug in pronto and do a quick test.

1. Incorrect. You just need a plug adapter. The power supply runs on any voltage from 110 to 250.
2. No
3. No
4. See previous post. If you can't find the codes, they are usually very easy to learn.

I asked the question because, as mentioned, I haven't yet purchased the remote. I'm loathed to shell out so much $ if I later find that it won't work with my TV. So, has anyone actually tried this with my model of TV?

Cheers

Have never had any problems with any ir control by any pronto, so far.

Dont think LG has any special ir codes/freq.

If codes are not in prontoedit database, you can learn all codes in about 5 min.
